David called last night and asked me to post a thread, Robin is in the hospital and they aren’t leaving until the baby comes. I’ll be an Aunt today! YIPPY! i’m excited! As soon as i know anything else i will let you all know! Its almost a kid!

Hey, that is terrfic news! While he was being born, I was playing with the kids I’ve grown to know and love at church, so I guess that might be kind of fitting. Congratulations to Dave and Robin! May the world weclome Aaron as we have.

Woo-hoo! We shall require pics, of course, at the new family’s earliest convenience…so, sometime next year, perhaps?
As you already know, Aaron was born today, and I must say, he is the quietest little bugger on the planet. Hard to believe, those of you who know me and Robin, but there it is. He barely even chirped after the initial Where-the-hell-am-I crying.
I’ve already been assigned to diaper duty, and he’s already taken two monstrous doompahs that I have dutifully taken care of. I also witnessed the birth first-hand from the business end, so I guess that’s proof positive that I’m both over my queasiness and well-adjusted.
As for pictures, I regret to announce that I have none to give you just yet, but you can be certain that they are coming, just as soon as I can get them to you.
He is the cutest little thing alive, and I get a lump in my throat and a tear in my eye every time I see him. I am swollen with pride because of my son and my wife, the two people I hold most dear in my life.
This has been a joyous day for us, and I’m glad you could all be here to share it with us. On behalf of myself, Robin, and Aaron, thank you all very much.
