Aaron Turns Two Months!

Yeah, yeah. I know, two months isn’t such a big deal. Well, yeah it is.

As some of y’all know, my first child died at 39 days old, after spending ten of them in a coma. I spent the first month of Aaron’s life with my fingers crossed, hoping that he was all right.

Now, two months later, he’s just fine. His eyes are starting to focus a little more, he’s filled out quite a bit, he smiles a lot, and he likes to coo at the walls. He’s also able to turn his head and support it for short periods of time. Aaron’s head is still pretty bare, save for a corona of brownish hair at the back of his head.

His only problem right now is a case of diaper rash. Thank God.

Robin

YAY! And cute, too!

Robin, even tho my Perfect Child[sup]TM[/sup] was my first and only, I still checked her for breathing as she slept many, many times in her early months. Maternal worries, I guess. I can’t even imagine what you dealt with, but I’m very happy Aaron is doing well. Cherish these moments, because before you know it, he’ll be running all over the house leaving toys everywhere, and you’ll long for the quiet days when he was a little lump in the crib!

Congratulations! Aaron is such a cutie!

Aww, congrats Robyn, Airman, & Bomb Bay!

He’s such a cutie pie!
Is that a German Shepard in the picture at the bottom? My parents had a Shepard when I was a baby. My mother would put me out on a blanket while she laid out in the sun, and whenever I tried to crawl off, the dog would pick me up by the diaper and set me right back in the middle again.

Many best wishes for the next couple of decades or so!

He’s a little cutie! Heck, at 27 months I still get up several times at night to make sure China bambina is doing alright.

Best of health to all of you.

The dog in the picture is my parents’ German shepherd, Dixie. Dixie adopted Aaron while he was still in utero, and still misses him terribly. My parents and I use NetMeeting so they can see and talk to the baby, and Dixie gets excited when she hears Aaron coo.

Floozie, the terrier, couldn’t have cared less about Aaron, which is just as well. She’s a bit, well, self-centered.

Robin

Good to hear, Robin. All the best to all of y’all.

Happy ‘Day’!

I don’t know. What do you call these things?

Congrats though!
