Aaron is 4 months old!

So Airman and I took Aaron to the pediatrician today for his four-month check-up. And he’s perfectly healthy. His head is 42.0 cm in circumference; he weighs 16.4 lbs. (on their scale; we’ve measured him at 18 lbs.); and all major systems are normal!

He’s really doing remarkably well. He’s taking cereal now, although he seems to absorb it through his chin. He’s also learning to roll over and seems to genuinely like spending time on his tummy. While on his tummy, Aaron can raise his head and he’s starting to do baby push-ups. He giggles frequently now and loves to smile. He’s a little chatterbox and will talk to anyone who will listen. And if you don’t want to listen, he’s perfectly content to talk to himself. Aaron also LOVES to be talked to and sung to and played with.

Just thought y’all would want to hear how he’s doing.

New pix will be posted when I get off my duff and download the camera.

What, the Baby Genius hasn’t won a Nobel Prize yet? Slacker. You gotta get him away from those Bob the Builder videos, Robyn…

He is a cutie. I like the “I’m thinking” picture best

Do you think that Aaron would go for an older woman? I have an eight month old blue-eyed beauty…we could sign the contract now! Congratulations…things only get better!

Awww geez I can’t wait to meet bubbaleechie and see him/her doing baby pushups.

only another 5 months of pregnancy to go.

Tell him his *Auntie Aye * has forgiven him for waiting so long to show up !

I just knew he was going to be a big smart boy. I just wish y’all hadn’t had to move before I got a chance to spoil him rotten.

He’s absolutely precious! Almost makes me want a baby of my own, until I remember the crying, and the diapers, and the late nights…better you than me!

Seriously though. Very cute kid.

(I’ll bet he’s a punk like his dad though… )

For some reason I can’t get to the pictures, but that’s not going to stop me from wishing the little bit well! Four months old is such a great age. They’re smily and cuddly and cooing. Give Aaron a hug for me.

Aaron is being a pill today, but I can’t blame him. We had to get up early to take Airman to the airport and no one’s really let him nap since he went back to sleep for a few hours earlier. So, he’ll have a good nap this afternoon and wake up his usual cheery self.

Wow. Pretty soon the li’l nipper will be shaving.

Hey, Aaron, take it from your Ol’ Uncle Dave-Guy. Milk the cute stuff for all it’s worth. Especially this time of year. Make your first Christmas really count, man!
