i’m an aunt again and get to spoil the little cutie! love, love, love i get to cuddle the kid, give him candy… well when hes older, buy him stuff that will drive dave and robin crazy and then hand him back when the diaper needs changed! I’m ecstatic right now. and Robin is as well. It’s been a long time coming, but he has finally arrived, to save the Dope and all mankind…
OK, so I’m laying it on thick. But hey, I’m allowed to right now. This has been the greatest day of my life, bar none. I am absolutely overjoyed, as is Robin. 
He is soooooooo cute, too. He looks like his mother so far, I think. That’s a good thing, by the way. I’ll get some pictures just as soon as is humanly possible.
Thanks to everyone who gave us support. It means a lot to us. Now all that is necessary is the obligatory welcome from Uncle Cecil and we’ll be good to go.

Congratulations on starting the wildest ride of your life, from my totally obversational standpoint!!!
Robyn, love, you know how much I care about you, and please know that I am holding you and your Aaron in my heart and in my prayers. May you both be happy and healthy and take life’s little trials in stride…after all, as long as you have each other, enough to eat and something to laugh about, what else really matters?
Oh, and Dave too. Didn’t mean to leave you out, hon…but Robin and Aaron are the ones who did all the work…at least so far. I am sure you will redeem yourself soon by…doing all the laundry, and trust me, there will be a LOT of laundry…not complaining when you get trampled by hoards of people who just want to pay homage to your beautiful boy…walking the floor on those nights when Robin is exhausted and Aaron just isn’t in the mood to sleep…I’m sure you catch my drift.
Oh, and never forget, Aaron darling, that Auntie Cheri is only a plane ride away…so if mom and dad ever get cranky, just let me know and I will come play patty-cake with you all weekend while mom and dad get away for a…I’d say romantic rendevouz, but at this point it is more likely to be a couple of good night’s sleeps!

And I’m only about a 30 minute drive away.

There’s enough of him to go around. Right after we change this diaper. And feed him. And calm him down. And change him. And feed him aga…
Well, maybe there ISN’T enough to go around. But we’ll sure try.
Aaron and Dave and I just got home from the hospital a little while ago. The baby and I are both okay. I can’t do anything fun for about six weeks, but it’s okay because I’ve got my hands full!
Fortunately, Aaron is well-behaved and his grandparents love to help out.
The labor was actually pretty easy. I managed the pain just fine and didn’t get any real pain relief until I was almost finished. I’m still feeling a little banged-up but none the worse for wear.
So, if y’all will excuse me, I’ve got a nap to take.
