I’ll be thinking of you guys today!
PUSH, Robyn!!!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ROBIN! AAAAAAAND AARON!
And to a lesser extent, DAVE!
I’m rooting for an actual delivery this time! Come on out, Aaron, you’re being evicted!
Good evening.
I have been authorized by the Doors family to release the following information:
At 4:12 PM Central Daylight Time today, Aaron Justin Cartwright was born at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
He weighs 7 lb. 11 oz., is 20 inches long and has been described as “very very pink” in appearance.
No complications were reported during labor, and MsRobyn is on record as saying that her labor was not unduly difficult. I am also pleased to report that Airman Doors, USAF remained vertical and cooperative throughout the whole process.
Mother, father and baby are all doing fine and will offer commentary at a later time.
Thank you.
And now, if I may be permitted a personal comment:
::tosses hat in air and jumps up and down::
WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Congratulations, Dave and Robin!
And welcome, Aaron. We’re glad to see you.
Bloody Bonzer…give 'em all our love and best wishes!!
My sentiments exactly, Zappo! Congrats to our newest parental units, and welcome, Aaron!!!
Oooh! Threads like this make me go all gooey and (almost) broody again. I already posted congratulations in this thread but I’m posting it again!
Congratulations MsRobyn and Airman Doors, USAF, and welcome Aaron!
Hugs and congrats all around! But, Zap, you failed to confirm a finger and toe count! Isn’t that what all new parents check out first?
Yay! BABY! YAYYY!
Congratulations, Mom and Dad! Great work, Mom!! Welcome to the world, Aaron!
Way to Goooo!!!
Wonderful news!
Love this world, where you can get all warm’n’fuzzy over a new baby whose parents you don’t really know.
MsRobyn and Airman Doors, USAF, thank you both so much for sharing.
Baby Aaron, welcome to the world, and be nice to your parents. They will be missing their sleeps very VERY soon.
Wait, she was serious about this whole pregnancy thing?
Congratulations!
HURRAH!
Well done Robin, welcome to the world Aaron!
And best of luck with your brand new baby.
Welcome to the world, Aaron!
Mazel Tov, Robyn and Airman!
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!
This has been a very emotional and difficult day - heck, week - for me. Which is my excuse for why I am now crying.
I’m so happy for you, Robin and Dave! And a big huge welcome to Aaron. You, little boy, are the unofficial godson of a thousand people all around the world. We congratulated your parents when they found out they were going to have you. We nodded in approval when they chose your name. We clamored to see sonograms. We impatiently awaited updates on your progress. So welcome to the world. Only royalty has had more people on edge waiting for a birth.
Robin and Dave, I hope you print out this thread and keep it in Aaron’s baby book.
Hot damn! A new MAD in the world!
Congratulations to both of you.
Now Dave, remember this son: Do whatever she says to do. Give her what she says she needs.
I speak from experience. There is no try. There is only do. And do. And do.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!!!
