I played soccer in 2nd grade. I had a head on collision with another team’s player, and was once trampled by my own team. That’s why I like hockey, it’s less violent.

Um, the San Diego Clippers were a basketball team. As far as I know the only hockey ever in San Diego was minor league. So, I wonder where and what you went to?

The doctor never called me back to tell me what to do about missing a dose of one pill and double dosing on two others.
I took the missed dose. not sure how to handle the double doses so I think I’ll just pretend it didn’t happen and go back to what I am supposed to do
I don’t know what the hell I’m talking about, but if I miss meds, I take them the next day at the usual time, and it seems to work out.
How does flying in a balloon, however strangely shaped, compare to being injured in a soccer game?

Flytrap the pills I was worried about were Plavix and Lisinopril. I take them at 10am but accidentally took a second dose at 10pm. I didn’t know if I should take them again at 10am or skip that dose and pick up at 10am the next morning. I didn’t want to take too much of either but I don’t know if it’s okay to go more than 24 hours without them.
You’re right - brain fart here, plus this all happened back in the mid-70s… It was the San Diego Mariners. (I looked it up.) The Clippers were the Baltimore hockey team when I was a kid. Pay no attention to the old woman blathering on about her youth…

For some reason, my bladder thinks I need to get up at 4 to ease its strain. And shortly thereafter, Higgs wants to tend to her bladder. I don’t think I’ll ever sleep in again!! But I’ve breakfasted and I’m caffeinating and I’ve got a morning of laundry ahead of me - rah!
**FCD **is meeting with a new dentist today. He’s fed up with the other one who kept screwing up his crowns and temporary crowns, so I found another who takes our insurance. If he likes this practice, I may change - we shall see… Meanwhile, onward into the day.

**sari **- I take lisinopril, and as a non-medical professional, I think skipping to the next correct dose time would be fine. I believe it’s one of those things that builds up in your system, so waiting the extra time shouldn’t deplete its effect. At least, that’s how I’d treat a similar situation. But since I’m not your doctor and I don’t have the same meds and/or issues, I can’t possibly know what I’m talking about. So feel free to ignore me.

Well, FairyChatMom, I’m glad it was hockey you saw anyhow. Much better than the (perennial loser) Clippers basketball.
Thanks for the welcome, dogbutler. I have been a Blackhawks fan and Kings fan for many years but having moved to Texas I have to root for the Dallas Stars as well as the Texas Stars who play right here in Cedar Park, only five minutes from us. And yay for them, winners of the 2014 Calder Cup. We have totally enjoyed watching minor league hockey and it’s also fun to see a player move from Cedar Park to Dallas and then thrive. Yay for development leagues.
I may not be a major sports nut, but I do know the difference between hockey and basketball - one uses sticks, one wears shorts.
It smells like it wants to rain. Of course it does - I just put 8 pairs of jeans out on the line to dry…
