I think I’m free just about any Friday evening. And I love cookies!
I can’t do the 25th–I have PALS certification that day, and I work at 0600 the next day. Poop. Have fun without me…
rigs, I can’t do the 25th either. We haven’t settled on a date yet anyway, so no need to poop yet. 
Actually, there are at least 3 people who can’t do the 25th, so maybe we should strike it from the choices?
I guess we could attempt to do something the 18th of Jan (this Friday), but that seems to be so little notice.
So, let’s look at February, unless people really want the 18th.
We have the 1st, the 8th, the 22nd and the 29th (yay, leap year!).

I vote for the 1st, but I don’t have a strong preference either way. I’m just voting for the 1st because it’s the closest.
I think the 1st sounds good! I agree that this week is too short notice, and there’s too many people who can’t make the 25th.
Sounds good to me too, but let’s make sure we get some of the other Chicago dopers to weigh in (or not) before we make a decision.
I’m into the soonest possible time too, I have to admit. I could do this week, but I have no life yet.

I’m pretty much free for any date except Feb 1 in the near future. I’m pretty sure I could convince sugar and spice to come along as well.

Hey, this time I actually have an excuse for not being able to make it, other than just being a big old party pooper! Having my foot sliced open on the 25th. Have to see how quickly I get how mobile after that.
But don’t plan a date around me in any event. History tells that I’ll just end up cancelling anyhow! But I’ll really WANT to make it, and do my best to make up a good story… :rolleyes:

Pretty much any Friday in February would be good, as my automobile should be back from the dead by then, and if not I guess I’m not too good to take the CTA, assuming it exists then…
Personally, I think next year (10 years after this board opened) there should be a huge blowout Dopefest in Chicago.
Fine by me, since I have every intention of still being here.
I really don’t want to do anything on Fridays–sorry–but I am usually exhausted by the end of my shift on Fridays and not willing to drive downtown in a uniform (no shower at work–and to change from scrubs to clothes w/o showering is too gross).
