It's time for a new Doper pic thread!

Yay, think I’ve figured it out…here’s a better sized one.

And here’s me with less silly hair.

Nah, we need to be friends on Facebook to see them :frowning:

I’m going to post an old picture of me this time. Here I amage 22 or 23 crewing onboard the Clearwater.

Here is a much more recent oneI used in some prior threads.

You have very pretty eyes

Is something wrong with my computer? I tried the link you posted, but it lead to a wikipedia article about Hypertext Transfer Protocol.

Goodness you were groovy.

If you look in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window when you put your mouse over a link, you can see where it goes. Often you can spot obvious errors–in this case the link goes to http://“http//www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1050454&id=6427569162
If you right click and choose “copy link location” you can then manually paste the url into your browser and remove the extra http://”

Thank you, I assume that is good.

Awwwwwwwwww - you’re so pretty!

No shit. I could lose myself in those eyes.

That is the funniest shirt I’ve ever seen.

I put my mug in my user profile.

I’m just glad to see Ellen Cherry (The Most Beautiful Grrl On The Dope:D) has done the same.

I’ll go back to my corner now…

Hey an 18 year old joke based on a 40 year old joke got a laugh.

This was shortly after the Valdez accident and was based off of the old Lily Tomlin Telephone Company routineshe used to do. She played Ernestine. I remember seeing it on SNL.

I had a feeling it was after the Valdez. And Lily Tomlin is a comedy genius.

(40 year old jokes are nothing to me. I still laugh uproariously at Spike Jones songs.)

Now that I’m over 100 posts…

I don’t have any new ones, but since I began a separate photo website from the wife’s for pigeon photos – because I was starting to crowd hers with them – and there seems to be a fair amount of interest in elephant polo, I’ve added some from the 2006 King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament in the northern-Thai town of Chiang Saen. This was the last tournament I played in.

I’m #4 in the blue shirt.

Here is one I’ve posted before.

Then here I am taking the field.

Waiting.

A scrimmage!

More action.

Looking off to where the action is now.

Elephant polo? Such a thing I did not know existed. It looks neat.

It raises a lot of money for elephant welfare. And the elephants seem to enjoy it. A match, or chakka, lasts only 15 minutes not counting time outs, but you use a different elephant for each half, so they don’t get tired. More details here.

The “ding” sound and a message telling you that you’ve levelled up are conspicuous by their absence, aren’t they?
