It's Time For A New MMP

It’s been nice and foodful here. FIL has been watching the Masters on TV. I’m about to feed Cozmo and return to knitting.

**Sticky **- that is one bodacious cheesecake!! WANT!!!

Back to my knitting!

YAWN So, I thought to myself, I’m tahrd, maybe I should just stretch out in ye olde recliner for a few minutes. An hour later I woke up.

Only an hour? Pshaw.

What can I say? I’m a nappy poo wimp.

EWWWWWWWWWWW internal stitch popping is weird…

Glad someone on here warned me- they didn’t mention it at the hospital, just had a leaflet saying they’d dissolve in 4-6 weeks, which would be around now. Can’t remember who it was, but thanks!

Have basically been spending a few days in bed, not doing anything much (everything’s shut, and my back’s been quite achey). I’ve been sorting through my terrifyingly large seed stash, and now I want to grow all the things, even though I still can’t do any digging… and I’m going to another seed 'n plant swap on tuesday. I think I have a problem.

Happy sunday all!

Ahhhhhh today has been a good day. Spent bunch of lazy time with mr ems he has smoked a turkey breast and watched the golf today. I have made up the two guest beds and stripped and remade our bed then filled out a buncha paperwork for the greencard submission. Dinner was the turkey with steamed broccoli and squash casserole. All was delish and we are now cleaned up and put away and dishwasher is on. Time for feet up reading while the golf finishes then watch some movies.

Tomorrow I am headed out to Arkansas for the week. Rah!

Nuts ick!

Dishes are all put away. Da bear is in chillax mode.

So my friends Scott & Diana just took me out to a seafood restaurant and bought me a rockfish dinner. I have not had a rockfish dinner like this in years - as good as I have ever had. Diana and I spent 5 hours working their yards today doing limb trimming, mowing and general cleanup. I miss owning a house.

It was a good day. I hurt. I’m going to bed.

PS: the fish are doing great. Life is good.

The dinner at MiL’s was pleasant, and I had a nice time visiting with my daughter, her sweetie, the moms, and my husband’s niece. We also to got to meet the niece’s six month old son for the first time today. He’s really a very sweet and funny baby.

There just wasn’t enough weekend. I could do with about two months worth of straight weekend, but that isn’t happening any time soon.

My brother has offered to go to the gym with me to make sure I get exercise and get out of the house. He’s an amazingly introverted and private guy, so the fact that he offered this (and phrased it as “both of us need more exercise, why don’t we go together?”), is a really, really big deal.

sniffle

My big bro really loves me.

Pssst! Hey! Over here…
