I objected to Q.E.D.'s tone, which isn’t against the rules, and I have never threatened to deliberately post anything here that I know is against the rules.
So, since you have so graciously told me I’m free to bitch about it here, I’m going to be honest. Your accusatory tone sucks, becasue I haven’t done a damn thing to warrant it.
Compared to other things I have seen posted here, and other extreme statements of what people would like to do to others or see done to others:

I’ve not treated any mods or admins disrespectfully, and I don’t intend to, but I really would like you to extend the same courtesy to me and not ask me if I intend to follow the rules in some scolding tone simply because my opinion of a joke doesn’t agree with yours. I never said the mods didn’t have the right to close the thread, I just expressed that it was a pity they did.
Hey catsix, I used to know this girl, and it was really strange because like, when everyone went around saying how much they loved chocolate, she would say she hates it, and when everyone said they hated math, she would say she loved it. It was almost like she took up a contrary position on everything just to be differet. Man, she got a lot of attention that way.

My “tone” was “I like this board, please don’t crap all over it”. I was (and am) suggesting that if you want to read and post sick shit, you find a different venue for it. That’s not the purpose for which this board was created.

It just sounded to me like ‘I’m going to tell you to get out of here because you didn’t have a problem with that joke.’
There are other posters in this thread aside from me who said they thought it was ‘no worse than some things in the Pit’, and I thought you were being a little harsh because it wasn’t as if I said ‘Hey, I’m going to post all the sickest jokes I know here’.
I understand you didn’t like it, but I’m not the one who posted it either. So please don’t accuse me of crapping all over the board by pretty much agreeing that the post was no worse than a lot of what is currently in the Pit. You saw it as a big deal, I didn’t. There is no reason that we can’t peacefully disagree. (And no, that doesn’t mean I’m even thinking about trying to provoke anyone by posting anything sick. I’m not.)

I told the story because your flat out refusal to see that that joke could be construed as extremely offensive just because YOU think it’s a great haw haw joke is completely asinine, and no, I don’t laugh at dead baby jokes either. YOU know what’s funny and WE don’t… YOU have a more advanced sense of humor because you see abuse and murder as funny and we don’t.

Where did I say that my sense of humor was more advanced? It’s obviously different, but I don’t think that means ‘more advanced’.
There are a lot of people who find David Letterman hilarious, and I don’t. That doesn’t make his fans more advanced than me because they can see humor in something I can’t, it just makes us different.
This thing you have about me thinking I’m better than everybody, this is not accurate in the least. I’m not better, and I’m not worse. I am different, and often see things differently than others. There’s no reason there isn’t room for my opinion and yours, and no reason we both can’t express it.
I don’t know where you got the idea that I think I’m better than everyone else, but I hope you some day realize that I don’t think that.
