It's time to bring Boxey back to Battlestar Galactica

If you check out the deleted scenes from the first season, they filmed a lot more Boxey than ended up in the broadcast. And thank God they cut him. The kid was a black hole of acting talent. Jake Lloyd squared, man.

Fun fact: In the DVD commentary of either the miniseries or an early episode, Ron Moore and David Eick say that Boxey died of cholera. Sure, this was never actually shown or said in an episode, but it certainly fits the dark tone of the series.

Cholera. It’s not just for 19th century settlers anymore.
Cholera. It’s retro!
Cholera is the new cholera.
Cholera is your (great-great-great-grand-) father’s disease.
Cholera is back, baby!
Cholera and dysentery. A combo to die for.

Cholera - Apply directly to Boxey!!

It’s Cholerriffic!

Meh, that ‘daggit’ looked like a monkey in a space suit. Here’s how you do a robot dog with radar dish ears. And a freakin’ laser beam!
