Just a reminder: turn your clocks ahead one hour, at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Spring is on its way! I’m so damn sick of this winter.
Just a reminder: turn your clocks ahead one hour, at 2 a.m. Sunday.
Spring is on its way! I’m so damn sick of this winter.
You say spring is on the way, but I’m firmly in the “I’ll believe it when I see it” department. Can’t wait till I can open the windows again and give the house a good airing.
Being as it is time to turn the clocks forward I once more present the obituary of Harry Stamps, who passed away six years ago. His daughter said he died on this day as a final form of protest against Daylight Saving Time. Only obit I ever laughed at.

It’s already here.
I observe meteorological spring instead of that solstice-y crap.
It’s actually spring back and fall forward so turn your clocks back one hour.
If only they waited until Spring was firmly here before setting the clocks ahead, it wouldn’t bother me so much. After a long slog of gradually getting a little daylight in the morning, this sets the sunrise back an hour and I’m getting up and commuting to work in the dark all over again, just like the middle of winter. It’ll be May before the sunrise gently awakens me instead of the harsh alarm going off in the dark.
This is what I thought. Who springs forward? You definitely spring back.
