His tweet when Aretha Franklin passed away mentioned that she “worked for him on numerous occasions” and said “Best wishes and sympathies to her family.” The “best wishes” was a real headdesker.
I wonder if he’ll attend his rally today, though? I know he had to duck out due to the deposition, but his schedule has suddenly cleared up…

Trump has been quoted as saying “my twin as a woman,” . If I squint just a little when looking at some more recent pics, I think he may have a point.
Her death might mean the kids don’t show, but I don’t see why it would affect his schedule. It’s not like he’s capable of mourning or anything.
If he can attend a rally, then he could have attended a deposition. We’ll see how he plays it.
I guess I am going to have to be the evil one to note that the official cause of death was blunt force trauma. No heart attack or stroke. Just an evil nasty “fall”.

Cops say Trump went into cardiac arrest before falling down a flight of stairs in her four-story townhouse on the Upper East Side. A staff member discovered her body when she arrived for work and called 911.
ETA: it doesn’t look like there was a heart attack according to what’s currently available from the autopsy report.
Heart attack is a reasonable first guess when you find a 73-year-old dead on the floor of her home with no signs of foul play. Of course, it’s possible she had a heart attack at the top of the stairs and that caused her to fall. But how would the cops know that? Seems it was just speculation before the ME’s report came out.
My four story penthouse has an elevator, none of those pesky stairs.
They may have found some evidence of a past or present heart arrhythmia.
Someone on another board said they’d seen a wirephoto of Ivana about a year ago, and said that even then, Ivana did not look healthy despite a lot of makeup, and appeared to be using the man who was escorting her as a support.
Wouldn’t it be great if Ivana and Donnie got back together?

I’ve noticed Ivana looked frail in recent paparazzi photos. I was surprised because Ivana could afford the best doctors and health care that’s available.
But, some health problems have limited treatment options. It’s ironic that there’s a few things wealth can’t provide.
Ivanka had this to say about Ivana in a tweet:

The sad thing is, whatever her personal accomplishments, she is remembered as being Trump’s wife.
That’s true, and I hope a LOT of people will be worried about having any association with him on their resume.

I think it’s sad that women think they have to pile on the makeup when they age. Men can show their wrinkles and look “distinguished” yet women seem obligated to try to hide their age.
