Man that sucks. Hard.
Well, I can see the point; I would have been transporting wheel chair confined persons to and from doctors offices. Lot of potential liability for the owner if the driver can’t hear the freight train coming. Its just that I’ve been driving deaf for so damn long that I take it for granted. I’ve learned to never turn the radio on and it has made me more visual; I can’t sound locate so I pay a lot more attention to what is going on around me. Being deaf in one ear is a bitch; its just one of the reasons I hate overly-loud, bass-thumping, window-shaking stereo systems being played by brain dead zombies with burnt out eyes and a total lack of regard for their fellow man.
That’s terrible! Any chance of a different position that wouldn’t require this? Any chance that an exception can be made?
