I've discovered the secret to oven fries!

No, they were curds - but it was fake bacon. (It was this tiny french fry place on the same street as the Elbow Room; close to, but not quite in Yaletown - they had both vegetarian and real gravy as options). I’ll be back in August if there’s somewhere specific that I should try.

(so as not to violate copyright) basically, you slightly cook the slices, then dip them in the egg wash, bread crumb them, then fry them.
