I've got issues.

Oops, there you go again with the foul mouth.

Your inner Tyler is showing, Jack.

Funny as some of this stuff is, it’s going to get you in trouble at some point, or really offend someone you didn’t mean to offend. I agree on setting up an appointment with a therapist.

welby1, can I cast a vote for you seeing a doctor ASAP? I’m not a doctor or anything resembling one, so don’t let anything I say frighten you - but that sort of behavioral change could be associated with something like a light stroke or a brain tumor.

Probably other stuff a lot less serious, too, that I don’t know anything about - but get it checked out, okay?

I have a friend who was diagnosed with Tourettes in his 40s. He had it (and ADD) his entire life, but no one noticed, as he is highly educated and well in control. At least until he was under a great deal of stress. Then all of the behaviors he had unconsciously created over the years to deal with these things no longer helped and he was going into rages and saying inappropriate things. He was finally diagnosed and underwent a year or more of medication adjustment and is now doing very well.

Go see a doctor.

I’m going to see a shrink. Made an appointment this morning. Last night while at a gathering of family one of my cousins was looking for his mom and couldn’t find her.

“She left you here because she doesn’t love you anymore,” popped out of my mouth.

He was, in a word, shattered. The silence could have been broken by a feather.

Good for you, welby1, for doing something with the advice you asked for. I hope things get better soon.
