iZombie Season 2 (spoilers as it airs)

I saw Hellcats when it originally aired.
Aly was also in Phil of the Future

Her sister plays Laney Lewis on The Goldbergs

Brian

Interesting. I should go watch the Trickster episode, since that never really aired thanks to the breaking news that President Bush (the elder) had gotten an upset stomach in Japan.

The fight scene in the most recent episode was probably my favorite fight scene since Raising Arizona.

Good episode last night. More Peyton, yay!

Hoping that that Barber character becomes a recurring character. Interesting …

Was Blaine going to feed Grandpa’s brain to Dad? Sure looked that way.

Also, Dear Og, CW has the worst streaming video service I’ve seen since 1998. It’s unfortunate that 50% of my favorite shows are on CW. I watch each show, and by 15 minutes into each episode, my computer’s memory is maxed out and I’m watching video at 2 frames per second. And, no, it’s not my computer or my Internet service. It’s CW. I watch The Blacklist on NBC, Gotham on FOX, Supergirl on CBS, and Agents of SHIELD on ABC, and they’re all just fine.

Try watching “The Flash” at 2 FPS. Unwatchable.

I find myself wondering if CW’s streaming is “optimized” for Windows and Internet Explorer or something. It reminds me of when Yahoo! wouldn’t let me watch videos, and suggested that I would get the best results by using the latest version of Netscape. In 2001, by which point I was running Mac OS X and there was no version of Netscape that would run on my OS.

Weird. I watch Arrow, iZombie and The Flash on CWTV.com exclusively, and I’ve never had a single problem. Maybe it is ‘optimized’ for Windows (don’t use IE), in which case… I dunno… sorry about your luck?

My wife uses CW streaming and has had zero issues. She uses Adblocker and it more or less plays like a Netflix stream. Perfect, HD streaming with no buffering.

I used it to watch Penn and Teller: Fool Us. It was great. I got an occasionally drop to SD resolution and a bit of pixelation once in a while. Hardly an issue, though. CW has been my personal best experience streaming network shows.

Whoa, it lets her use AdBlock? It detects me using it, and won’t show me anything unless I disable it.

The trick for me is to turn it off and refresh the page to start the video, and then immediately turn it back on; none of the ads play.

CW’s site works ok for me. NBC makes me want to punch things (but most of their stuff is on my OnDemand app soon, but CW has a 1-week delay) and CBS sometimes sucks, sometimes doesn’t.

Yeah, it allows it. I had no idea any site did that.

Thanks for the tip — it worked! Well, almost. It still let the ads for other CW shows play, probably because they’re coming from the same domain as the show itself. I’m just happy I didn’t have so sit through more cell phone ads.

I think last night’s episode was my favorite so far. Though I wonder what Penn & Teller would think of it :stuck_out_tongue:

Tonight, I came up with a (possibly) great idea. Many of you know that I’m a professional chef. One of my favorite parts of this show is the brief sequence in each episode that shows Liv cooking up the brain she’s going to eat. It would take some serious freeze-framing, but I think I could maybe analyze what I see, and do my best to reproduce the recipes.

Obviously, I would have to replace the brains with a different … protein (I was going to say “meat”, but …) Who knows, maybe I’ll work up the nerve to go down to the local Mexican carniceria and buy some cesos

Hmm. Maybe CW would sponsor a Web series …

Do you watch Hannibal? That’s partly a cooking show in some ways.

Here’s what I see if I try to watch with ABP enabled:

Just confirmed with my wife. She gets no ads and it doesn’t stop her. She uses Windows 7 and Firefox, though.

In any case, I used your tip, and have been watching CW shows, ad-free (mostly) ever since
