Sorry for the double post, but this is a stand-alone complaint. It kind of goes with my earlier bitching about how of course people could always word their posts differently by they are under no obligation to do so.
I don’t complain about people behind their backs. The closest I come to that is when I bitch someone out here on the board and I want to assure you that if I knew you IRL, I wouldn’t hold back on my opinion in meat-space either.
I believe in telling someone that, IMO, what they did is wrong. I believe it is acceptable to do that using colorful language. I am not different on the board than IRL–if I have a problem with you, I will bring it up with you. I will also feel free to let other people know about said problem if I think it is necessary. I reserve the right to make an ass out of myself and apologize if needed.
Truly, this behavior has served me fairly well in life. Everyone knows where they stand with me…I do not smile to your face and stab you in the back. I don’t curry favor with peole I don’t respect to make myself look good. I’m not a boot-licker.
I wish posters such as QG, SA, SaI, and any others who share their mindset would let those of use who are more than happy to speak our minds do so. Yes, we risk hell, karmic retribution, a bab reputation, whatever punishment you think we deserve.
Speaking for myself, I can live with that. I can dish it out, and I can take it. I don’t appreciate your faux concern for my health and spiritual well-being. If I need assistance with this, I can always ask.
I’ll make my own bed, thank you very much. Quit helping me straighten the fucking sheets and tuck in the corners–that’s not how I make my bed and I’m not about to lie in it just because you think it would be more comfy.
And before QG comes in and tells me that I’m missing her point: No, I get your point…now how about you try to get mine.
ETA: QG, fuck right off. You just don’t fucking read what people post. Remember the whole perception thing…yeah, you should think about that.
