Well, frankly, her opinon is just as valid – and carries just as much weight – as anyone else’s, and the snippet you supplied of her comment does include “IMHO”. She isn’t making declarative statements of fact; she’s giving an opinion…and one which I happen to agree with in this instance.

And don’t forget that nastiness in the Pit according to Miz Quiddity Glomfuster is predicated on how much she likes the participants. Just like that narsty old schoolmarm, she plays favorites. Really, her incessant but arbitrary (designed to reflect maximum righteousness on herself) scolding and clucking at people who she doesn’t like, while excusing the hijinks of those she does, all under the guise of making the Pit a kinder, gentler place is just… hilarious.
