Jaden/Willow Smith interview. So much stupid "win"

They’re not brilliant kids being taken out of context, they’re nuts. At least Jaden is. Here’s just a short list of his ramblings.

If you don’t want to click, it’s basically Jack Handey’s Deep Thoughts.

“It’s Your Birthday” Mateo Said. I Didn’t Respond. “Are You Not Excited To Be 15” He Asked. Reading My Book I Uttered “I Turned 15 Long Ago”

You Can Discover Everything You Need To Know About Everything By Looking At Your Hands

It’s never too late.

Self-absorbed, pseudo intellectual, and rich.

I didn’t know they were dopers.

Tupac peaked early too. I don’t want to insult those kids, because they are kids and kids are still learning and growing. And the whole beating down anyone who stands out doesn’t appeal to me either as I have been the receiver of too many of those.

However it seems like these kids because of their parents have no sense of reality. Most people can’t just star in a famous movie or be a musician due to their parents wealth and connections. I do wonder if the unearned narcissism and inability to escape their parents identities will fuck them up. Being a narcissist because you earned it is one thing, these kids really haven’t earned it.

I could be wrong, either way not my problem but that was my response to the article. These kids could hit a traumatic and confusing identity crisis in their 20s.

My favorite kind of kids. LoL! What’s so wrong with having faith in your ideas and sharing them openly? They are right where they should be for their age, maybe a little ahead of the game. Do you expect people to keep their mouths shut until they have finished a PhD? Is no idea worthy of expression until it’s fully formed?

:smack:

There’s a world of difference between expressing an idea; and claiming that all other music and novels other than their own are not worth their time. And while still teenagers! They have experienced so little of this world, and yet feel okay passing judgment on things that they have not even glimpsed yet. That kind of teenage narcicism is bad enough on most kids, but from these guys that have had everything handed to them? It’s revolting, largely because there’s no sign that they will grow out of it.

This is what you get when you prioritize self-esteem over academic achievement.

A high school dipoma would be nice.

I put it on par with listening to a Charles Manson interview.

*JADEN: You never learn anything in school. Think about how many car accidents happen every day. Driver’s ed? What’s up? I still haven’t been to driver’s ed because if everybody I know has been in an accident, I can’t see how driver’s ed is really helping them out. *

I know right! Think about how many people die in hospitals each day. Medical school? What’s up?

The boys movies were all produced by his parents so it seems like the movies were made specifically to make him a movie star.

The girls music career is because the Smiths are friends with Queen Latifah and other music peeps.

I saw Queens first episode of her day time talk show and Will and Willow were on. Queen made a comment along the lines of, “I remember Willow being all little singing ‘Old MacDonald’ and I just knew she was going to be a music star.”

It’d be one thing if these kids were retarded like they are if they had made their own way like Bieber. I can forgive Beibers tardedness because he has real talent. These kids are having their careers made for them so I have less tolerance for their tardedness.

From Jadens wiki page here are a few quotes from Will and Jaden:

Will: “We generally don’t believe in punishment. From the time Jaden was five or six we would sit him down, and all he has to do is be able to explain why what he did was the right thing for his life.”

Jaden: “The thing that people don’t get is everything at his house is free. So I can get anything and everything at his house, so I’m going to be there for 20, 30 more years. He [Will Smith] says that as soon as I have a movie that’s bigger than one of his movies I can get my own house.”

Entitled little shits.

That was absolutely spot on.

Yeah, hell yeah, agreed, and spot on!

By the time they’re in their early-mid twenties, those poor kids are going to read the dreck in the article and want to hide their pretty heads in shame. For most of us, we can burn our journals and diaries to hide the evidence.

it was like when one of them (apparently sincerely) said kids should not bother with/drop out of school and just do whatever they wanted.

I was like, “yeah, well, that’s a lot easier to say when your parents are worth a couple hundred million dollars.”

The Church of Scientology explicitly recruits celebrities, and they have “Celebrity Centres” specifically to work with high-profile people. As I’ve heard it, Scientology can be really appealling to celebrities because it will stroke their egos with “you’re famous because you are superior and deserve to be” rhetoric and also acknowledges that being rich and famous comes with unique challenges.

I’ve had watery stools that were more fully formed.

Give Willow some credit - remember, the upcoming remake of Annie was pretty much created with the intent of having her in the title role, but she turned it down.

You have to wonder what the connection is between scientology and celebrities in the closet though.

The ones I notice seem to not know they are in the closet. I wonder if they promise a sort of “pray away the gay” aspect. And then, once they get you in, they have so many secrets on you that you dare not leave.

Hee hee hee.

I think we have two new Gwyneth Paltrows in the making - clueless, self-absorbed, out of touch with reality, and prone to saying things that make everyone else just stare at them and wonder what is wrong with them?

His example is a stupid one - driver’s ed in North America could be vastly improved.

I would rather listen to an interview with your watery stools.
