I can believe it. After all, didn’t he make comments in interviews that he thinks it’s appropriate to slap one’s girlfriend around?
I think the famous comment was “I think its okay to hit your woman…and sometimes she even deserves it.” which is so obviously a joke… Or was it?
James Bond never hit his wife - though he certainly wouldn’t hesitate to slap a woman or two around if she was dawdling over giving up some important bit of info. (And they should thank their lucky stars it’s Bond standing there and not some CIA contractor in Gitmo.)
