Brain cancer took the inimitable James Ingram from us today too early. Age 66.
Hard to believe that “Just Once” started off as a throw-away demo. Ingram breathed so much life into that track that a legend like Quincy Jones couldn’t turn away.

“Just Once” is one of my favorite songs. I am sorry to hear James Ingram passed away, his voice was incredible.
