^^^ I don’t get online or on a computer at all while I am on the clock, and for the record I am home now. I also don’t steal. 
What made that year so bad is the fact that them losses were the only things that happened. My mom was also in three car accidents in just that year alone, on January 9th, May 25th, and the day before Christmas Eve. She was hit by another car all three times, but what stands out about all three of them is that my mom did not get hurt even once and to me it is all because of the Lord.

I am the only person underneath my roof who works because my mom is not able to thanks to the chronic illness that she has had ever since I was four years old.

How do you mean?
You merely believe He saved her, or it’s because you believe in Him that He saved her?
If the latter, your mom would be dead if you weren’t a believer, or dead yourself?
Y’see, that’s the kind of answer that sends so many down the road to atheism, because instead of a chipper parroting of the “God works in mysterious ways” line they give it some thought. And it doesn’t take much thought at all to get to asking why, in a universe where “But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it,” an all-knowing and all-powerful being would allow a car accident or an earthquake to strike one of His children. And, like it or not, those other drivers and the people of Haiti and Japan are His children, too, even though they don’t follow your extremely-narrow definition of Christianity.
They quickly–as I said, it doesn’t take much thinking, only some–realize there are only two explanations for that behavior:
- God is not as powerful as they thought.
- God does not care about people nearly as much as they thought.
Number one makes Him a poor excuse for a Supreme Being. Number two splits into the Deism of Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, and Thomas Jefferson (I’ll bet that your preacher never told you that many of our Founding Fathers were not Christians!), in which an indifferent God set some Laws of Nature then went off on vacation for the next fourteen-billion years, leaving us to fend for ourselves, and a God that is capricious and evil, allowing and even making bad things happen to us. Preachers call these “test of faith,” but when He does them to people who have not even heard of Him it crosses the line into monstrous and sadistic, and neither a God who doesn’t care about us nor one who actively hates us is worthy of our worship.
This leads us to:
- There is no God, at least as we understand Him.
This is actually a comforting thought, compared with a weak God, a God who doesn’t care, and a psycho-crazy God. Sure, He can’t help us, but at least He’s not out to get us. Your mother is not sick because 26 years ago God set her up with a prolonged test of her faith, nor is she sick because God doesn’t care about her. She’s sick because bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people, and it’s all because of randomness and the long train of coincidences that people find so hard to accept.
I believe that the Lord saves people whether people believe that the Lord exists or not.
