Well, she’s a piece of one, I guess.
This is likely the first time in my life I’ve ever used this term, but that’s a real gobsmack there. No, the point of therapy is not to change the past. It’s to help, actually help, someone who is in some kind of agony, despair, or other mental illness. And, no, intelligent people do not condemn other people for having a mental illness. It’s an illness, not Evil[sup]tm[/sup]. Therapy is designed to help the person cope. In that way, it’s a method to, one hopes, ensure a future for the person.
You can’t tell from that observer’s point of view because you are not, of course, a qualified observer.
I’m sure your family and friends are so proud of you now.
That would be L+1, where L = Latest tally of lies you have made.
Ah, now we know why you do what you do: you’re convinced that you’re not condemned by the words you utter. My guess is you’re either one of those OSAS or pre-destination types. By the way, have you ever noticed that those who think only a few people are Saved always, without fail, believe they, no matter how they act, are among that throng?
Don’t recall anyone saying you were. But you sure have involved yourself in judging the person, now haven’t you?
It’s not something they’re trying to “get away with” doing. It’s a symptom, an extreme symptom obviously, of a serious and actual medical condition.
You have absolutely no idea what the person was thinking about at a dire time in their life. You obviously understand exactly nothing about the issue.
Oh, yeah. We have seen how you think about their survivors. Tell me, if you can, how it’s supposed to help the survivors to inform them their loved one is burning in Hell?
You’ve let a lot of stuff slide, lass. All of the stuff you’re letting slide is coming from you though.
For the majority of my life, I’ve heard Fundamentalists of one stripe or another telling me that, as a Mormon, I worship a different deity than Fundamentalists do. When I hear or see stuff like the tripe you just posted, I actually find myself hoping that they’re correct. My deity is a loving one. Your’s, apparently, isn’t.
