Maybe if I wasn’t acknowledged so much by everyone else here, you wouldn’t see as much from me at this forum. You would then only just see my two cents in the chats here that interest me enough.

I knew a guy on GameFAQs that killed himself because he couldn’t find a job and felt like a burden to his family. Drank bleach, threw it up, then returned and posted saying it was the worst pain he’d ever been in, before finally dying. Obituaries were posted and Jack Thompson responded (this was before he was disbarred). Was the GameFAQser committing suicide as a favour to himself? Will he be tortured in hell for all eternity, in your opinion?
The horrible fate was oblivion. No earthly person can cause another to be obliterated. Jesus provides pretty explicit instructions in the Gospels for rules to follow in order to escape hell. I’d recommend reading the Gospels and seriously considering why you’d follow your conscience or your preacher’s teachings above those of your God.
Out of interest, why do you think virgins don’t go to hell? There are mortal sins not related to sex such as avarice. If I were a demoniac rules lawyer, I’d just rape people in the afterlife so that they’d qualify.
^^^ A family will never get whatever help it is that they need now that the person that you are asking me about isn’t here anymore so to me, he did no one a favor.
To answer your second question, there is a line in one of my most favorite songs from country singer Trace Adkins that goes like this, “I don’t know what you’ve been told but there ain’t no virgins here.” That is what makes me wonder about what happens to those who never go all the way with anyone if the line in that song is true.

I just read the lyrics, and I don’t know if you understand the winking nature of that song. He describes being sent to hell, hot with fire, because of his final sin - which by the lyric Holly quotes above is inferred to be of a sexual nature. However, the very final lines in the song reveal the true point of the song:
It’s actually a song about doin’ the nasty nasty, and that Hell is a great time!
Holly, How can you quote that portion of the song to make your point about virginity, but not also agree with the song’s message that casual sex is worth going to Hell for, and also a very desirable choice?
