He’s not wrong.
The committee comes through on another humdinger of a hearing.
Good. Emphasizing that Donald didn’t “do nothing” during the riot.
“A stain on our history.”
Yup. Next hearing in September.
I heard an interview with Congresswoman Luria (the female side of today’s tag team presentation) earlier today. She’s a Democrat in a red area, and it was pointed out that her work on this committee might cost her re-election.
As part of her response, she said “I don’t care” and that this was “for history”.
They made a good case that Trump did more than just sit by, he bore responsibility for starting it and for not wanting to stop it. And when he finally said to go home, the drones took that as gospel. He could have ended it quickly and didn’t want to.
This isn’t speculation. They have ample evidence.
Here’s the Bannon teaser.
Interesting. Thanks to Bannon’s remarks in late October 2020, which recently came to light, it appears that Cheney, at any rate, has concluded that Trump’s plan (declare victory even if Trump didn’t win), was premeditated. I’m not surprised.
That is certainly my conclusion.
He cannot admit he is a loser.
I’m glad that Cheney is going for the political jugular. Trump is not fit to hold office.
It’s been my conclusion since 2016.
He said he would run the exact same “election stolen!” playbook if he had lost to Hillary Clinton.
He signaled throughout the election season in the run-up to 2020 that he would do the same thing if he lost in 2020.
The only thing that surprises me is that anyone is surprised.
Gavel down.
When people tell you who they are, believe them.
I was hoping we’d find out who it was Donnie tampered with.
Happen to be watching NBC and they went right into commentary. Lester Holt is grinning after showing the outtake of Trump’s Jan 7th speech. Ha!
Got CNN on. They’re replaying the January 7 outtakes, and discussing them with various commentators. “Insincere,” and “He didn’t want to say what was written,” among their remarks.
Msnbc is talking about McConnell and Schumer.
“A damning prime time glimpse into the character of Donald Trump.” John King, CNN.
I’ll be very interested to learn what polling reflects in a few days.
