I look forward to seeing his testimony. His legal responses, while he was working for Trump, that I read were hilarious for the extreme lack of shits given (mostly for requests for information by Congress).
I’m curious to know if that’s his natural personality or if he was pushed into a corner by the extreme lack of decorum of the people that he worked for.
Sounds like more Republican projection. They know how shady it would be if they were running such a committee so they assume that Bennie Thompson operates the same way.
John Cipollina was a pretty good guitarist. And yeah, that was how I first read his name. And once again I feel bad about the association my renegade head is making.
They plan to subpoena themselves? Or are they imagining that the Democrats will take al copies of the records, transcripts, video etc home and put them in their attics?
Ah, but then when the Democrats regain control they can investigate the investigators of the investigation, because that’s totally what we’re paying these Muppets for…
I would say that they should just put stuff into the public domain but there could be criminal investigations underway, by the DOJ, that would be affected.
Maybe there’s some way that they can grant it to the DOJ to own and manage the release of.
I’m not sure if that is a good idea or not - lean towards good, but there is potentially sensitive info that shouldn’t be public domain.
My point, however, is that the GOP issuing the subpoena is the equivalent of me asking a judge to force me to turnover my bank records to myself. The House of Representatives has full access to their own records.
Indeed. These morons don’t understand how their own jobs work. Why would they? They thing their job as a politician consists of producing sound bites, grifting the rubes and keeping their corporate masters happy.
