Yep, it sure is. A conversation is an oral exchange of ideas, information and/or opinions. If you don’t believe me, look it up. And a press conference is definitely an oral exchange of ideas, information and/or opinions.

If one person won’t stop talking shit and sticking their fingers in someone else’s face, for the person that walks away instead of doing or saying something stupid and sinking to the other person’s level – that’s a win.

An exchange happened. The reporter asked Gov. Brewer a question. Asking a question conveys the idea of having insufficient knowledge about something. Gov. Brewer gave an answer in response to the question. Answering a question conveys the knowledge sought by the questioner. That’s the exchange. It’s very clear.
So how is that not a conversation?
