Yeah it’s a whole production just to get the thing ready to go, and you’re going down the road with a broiler that could explode, he’s making adjustments constantly. I believe he said when he drives it people are not just impressed by the car, but impressed that he made it where he was going at all in a steam-powered car.

I read once that Jay lives on his standup income, and banks his Tonight Show income. Or maybe the other war around. Regardless, he also knows how to save, while indulging his hobbies.
