Read his ex-friend Billy Baldwin’s open letter to RFK Jr. It’s very insightful. BB believes that in RFK Jr’s mind, this is hid last desparate shot at political office.
JD is one of those characters who just sets off people’s “steer clear” Spidey Sense. That’s why the couch thing stuck like glue despite the lack of any factual basis. It’s also why things that do have a factual basis (like his weirdo obsession with other people’s children) have an extra-damaging effect.

I reread the article, and perhaps I missed it: When and how did VP Harris, “yell,” at trump about this specific issue? Afaict, a reporter questioned vance about the incident and the VP had made no comment about it. Indeed, she still hasn’t. Am I missing something?
