In my mind, the thing that proves Michael Schiavo’s innocence the most is that he continued to fight for what he believed Terri wanted. If he were trying to cover anything up he could have divorced her and let her parents take over care, since that’s all they wanted. They would have kept Terri alive by any means and there would not have been any such in depth medical probes. They would have gone on believing she could see and hear them and that she could recover and he could have gone on with his life and not be called a murderer in the press by public figures. It would have all been over, but he didn’t take the easy way out. I know some would argue that he was still trying to cover stuff up but there would have been no way for Terri’s family to prove anything while she was alive and they were not going to let her die. He would have been in the clear had he done anything wrong.
It probably isn’t the last trip. At the grocery store earlier today to get lunch and one of the tabloids had something about Scott Peterson on the cover.
I bet whoever wrote that article got his scientific information from A Few Good Men. :rolleyes:

Oh, don’t even start… on another Web site I frequent, I had to argue about this with somebody who claimed that if you strangle someone with a belt, smothered them with a pillow, or used the police choke hold, there will be no bruises and no evidence of strangulation. And he said a cop told him those things!
Hmmm. I was told all sorts of wrong things about the guy–acquiring the girlfriend, the insurance money, the history of abuse–and I’m glad it’s all been cleared up. It was a strange episode and made a lot of people think about questions they’d rather not think about.
And notice I said girlfriend, not mistress (which some people gave me flack for in the other thread). If his wife was actually dead, as it turns out she was, then Michael was no longer married to her and the woman was not dating a married man. So I take that back.
Time now for Jeb to be probed for malicious prosecution.

In this day and age of HIPAA, why does a doctor who didn’t treat this woman have a copy of her medical records?? Did Congress get a copy from the Schiavos? Why are they passing around confidential medical records that could be potentially enbarrassing? This isn’t a funny Dilbert cartoon, this is someone’s personal medical file. I sure as hell wouldn’t want my file passed around to strangers that arean’t treating me, however well-meaning they may be.

Totally apart from the fact that the guy sounds like a bigot and an idiot, why the hell would abortion be a gay agenda? As fundies are so fond of using as an argument against gay marriage, people who only sleep with people of the same sex won’t get pregnant.
