Jenna Jameson doesn't do interracial?

Re: “Shower, not grower.”

This is not correct.

A grow-er is a man who’s penis is small when flaccid, but grows to a larger size when erect.

A show-er is a man who’s flaccid penis is large, but doesn’t get much larger when erect. Therefore, in the locker room, he looks like he’s really big, but isn’t necessarily any bigger than the grower “when it counts.”

The guy in the above referenced movie may well have been a shower, and he may have not been hard in that scene, but that doesn’t mean he can’t get fully erect in other circumstances.
And while we’re on the subject of showers and growers and race and all–I have no idea if it’s true, but one explanation that I’ve heard for the “black men have enormous cocks” stereotype is that black men are more likely to be showers, while white men are more likely to be growers. Therefore, in the locker room, where penises are (presumably) flaccid, black men indeed tend to be a lot bigger than white men, but the difference is erased or minimized when the penises in question are erect. Again, I don’t know if there is any validity to this idea, but it is interesting to think about. (Or maybe it was just invented to make those poor, under-endowed honkeys feel better. :stuck_out_tongue: )

It’s her body, right?

So she can choose who to fuck and who not to

Exactly what I was going to say.

Should she be forced to fuck someone she doesn’t want just so that it doesn’t upset the sensibilities of some people.

Does her “no interracial” rule apply to women too?..that’d be a pity.

Jenna’s very first movie with Randy West was hot, hot, hot. Since she’s had all the surgery, however, she has gotten uglier and uglier.

Eh, it’s her body and career. She can fuck who she wants, no skin off of my nose.

There are a lot of pornstars of her era who wouldn’t do black guys on film- as said above, the stock answer was it would hurt their career, i.e. would somehow lower their pay if they had a done a black guy on film. Jill Kelly, Jasmin St. Clair, Kendra Jade are a few others that come to mind. This could be racist, depending on the person, maybe not. But its their choice who they sleep with on or off camera.

Then you have those like Jessica Darlin who did a bunch of black guy porn and later regretted it and said she was “forced” to do it.

Oddly enough, the no black guy rule doesn’t apply to gang bangs, as both Jasmin SC and Kendra Jade did black guys in their respective bangs- so in a group its OK, not one on one- or maybe there would be fear of a lawsuit if they had an open call for joes off the street to participate in the bang, but had a no coloreds allowed sign

Jenna J is one of the (many) ones who had work done for no reason- she was hotter without the work. Very few pornstars actually look better after the work- Shay Sweet is about the only one who went from plain to very hot.

Thirded. Completely aside from the OP’s question about Jenna, just because one is not interested in a certain category of people as sex partners does not mean ipso facto that one hates that category of people.

I don’t think I could have sex with a paraplegic because of the bladder control issues, and I know for a fact I could never have sex with anyone who had a heavy Brooklyn or Boston accent, simply because I like the dirty talk too much, and I wouldn’t be able to keep it up against that obstacle. That’s doesn’t mean I try to run them down in my car or anything.

If you are speaking of her racial belief, I would like to know how you have such a personal insight of her views. If you are referring to her overall intelligence, then you are quite wrong. She has turned herself into a brand -in a business not exactly known for it’s treatment of women- and profited greatly.

Furthermore, I don’t know why she doesn’t engage herself onscreen with black men, but I would be willing to bet it is because she doesn’t want to.
If the implication of the OP is that we as a populace now need to bang people from another race just to satisfy some unfounded guilt and “prove” our racial innocence…Well, screw you. I say this not caring in the least what the colour of your skin may be.

I’ve seen her in scenes with at least two Asian women (Asia Carrera and Kobe Tai), if that helps.

Where have I read this before? Was it Ellis Island?

Please indicate where the OP implies any judgment of Jenna Jameson, casts any aspersions on her decisions, or in any way badmouths her. It’s just a question. I figured she had an economic reason, since she is a shrewd business woman, and that seems to be true. Try hard not to ascribe motivations to me that are not mine.

Visit Club Taylor Rain and read her blog entries or go to LukeFord.com and dig up some of her archived material. Watch any of the behind the scenes material on her movies. She happily brags about her track record of drug related arrests. The girl is a twit. Don’t get me wrong, the girl absolutely sizzles on screen and I love her stuff, but she’s no renaissance woman. I think it’s dubious how business savvy she has been as well, from all accounts I’ve read it appears that she’s pretty much blown through huge amounts of her earnings on drugs and bling. Unlike Jenna and many of the other hugely popular girls she hasn’t set up her own production company and marketed herself to the mainstream. She was hugely successful for sure, she was about as attractive as any porn star I have ever scene and equally dirty to boot. But that by no means indicates that she was a shrewd business woman, she’s certainly no Jenna in that regard.

Read: “If the implication by the OP is…”

If there is no underlying motive, then there should be no argument.
Omniscient: I’m certainly not expecting the cure for cancer to be identified on her watch, but you don’t get that many zeroes in your bank account by being a moron, generally.

Generally no, but when you’re that hot and film incredible sex scenes it certainly ups the odds. The average pro athlete isn’t Einstein either.

Here’s the first blog entry of hers I scraped up, just soak it in for a second.

I mean seriously…

Such an incredible diversity of literary influences! I see Joyce, Kerouac, Wolfe, Hunter S. Thompson, Vonnegut… pity that a talent like that would choose a porn career instead.

Zeroes, indeed.

I barely know who Taylor Rain is but just as reference, Magic Johnson has a string of successful businesses in his name, and the man can barely speak English- IOW, she’s probably not the driving force behind her “brand”, just the front for it.

But be sure you offer a pre-emptive “screw you” just in case, right? :dubious:

So basically, the reason JJ doesn’t do interracial is because the porn industry thinks that white women who have sex on film with black men aren’t as valuable? Thus she is correct that it would harm her success if she did it? Wouldn’t this avoidance alienate black porn viewers? Is this an indication of endemic racism in the porn industry? I honestly don’t know much abougt this stuff, but I’m sure someone here does.

Omniscient: That’s a blog by Taylor Rain, not Jenna Jameson?

ETA: Ahh- I see what happened. I was referring to Jenna, not Taylor.

Well, until JJ goes out of her way to comment on her reasons we can’t know what her motives are. She might be a rabid racist, she might just find them unattractive, she might have a business reason for it. At this points it’s pretty unlikely that will happen, so it’s probably unwise to presume anything on her behalf.

To answer the rest of the question is more complicated. It’s entirely possible that there is endemic racism in porn. However, it’s also possible that market forces dictate this. If the buying public choose all-white porn with their wallets, can the industry be blamed for responding to that by limiting interracial stuff to the niche/fetish bins? Perhaps black porn viewers make up a negligible proportion of the buying audience, or perhaps they don’t buy black or interracial videos over typical white videos frequently enough to make producing them fiscally prudent.

Based on repeated interview comments, most memorably the series of documentary shows on HBO called Pornucopia, this issue is one the industry is fully aware of. A couple of black male performers accused the industry of racism and were frustrated by the double standard, but at the same time everyone agreed that you couldn’t pressure the girls to do anything they didn’t want to do, regardless of their reasons. The industry as a whole is under the belief that interracial stuff can hurt a girls earning power in the long run, though there are a lot of middle tier, anything goes-girls who do it regularly. I suppose the big question is if there is any validity to the “hurts marketability” claim or not, and the only people who can answer that are the producers who have the dollar figures.

In fairness though, there are a ton of fetish/niche genres that mainstream, big budget porn stars avoid for business reasons outside of interracial. Jenna and most of the promoted contract stars will not do gang bangs, BDSM, bukkake, anal and any other number of things which presumably would lower their exclusivity. For certain high-demand stars restricting the types of things you will do and the number of movies you will make drives up the price you can command. Often you’ll see up and comers doing those fetish things in order to get noticed and make a name for themselves and then stopping once they have achieved a certain level of demand.

Safe to say the industry is a bit more complex than “have sex, get paid” and motives for doing things can be pretty nuanced.

Um… re: Taylor Rain’s blog… what the eff is a “weed store”?

There are stores now?
