Seems almost unfair for a newcomer to be pitted against two proven champions. I wonder if Wendy would be a Second Chance Tournament candidate based on that alone?
That’s the same thing Ken said at the start of the game where he would initially have been due back. Just “unable to travel;” no mention of the reason. I assume Jeopardy considered it inappropriate to mention an illness.
As other posters have mentioned, I sometimes try to come up with a response on hearing a category. On a recent game (I think it was one of the Masters shows), one of the categories was “not so plain Janes”. I thought of the actress and said “who is Jane Seymour?” Turns out that was a correct response to one of the clues, but it was the other Jane Seymour.
I find it much more satisfying when I know an answer that none of the contestants know when it’s that Masters and not regular play.
I really like Sam Buttrey and wish he had won at least one game.
Enjoying the Masters tournament, but while I record the regular play, I just don’t have time always to watch both, so I just catch the Masters when I can.
Mayim bashers: Is it Jewish people you hate, or just women in general?
Pretty much all the posts that mention her. The eternal whining about her seems to be just pathetically reaching for any- and everything to dislike about her. Reminds me very much of anti-Semites and misogynists.
I don’t like her because she hesitates frequently before confirming correct answers, breaking the flow of the game. She’s also very perfunctory when interviewing the contestants.
I have also noticed that there’s a momentary delay before she affirms the answer. But I fail to see how that slight pause affects the flow of the game.
Wtf is this bullshit? I don’t like her because she is a bad host. She pauses before giving the answer, she thinks finding a Daily Double is funny, I simply don’t think she is a good host.
