I think I got 37 or 38 right. I’m not sure I typed “Troy” in time even though I knew the answer. I should have had a couple more (complementary, Hackman, Madison) that I just plain blanked on under the pressure. I’m sure everyone winds up with a couple of those. I’m guessing this means no chance of getting on.
However, a type of stamp that was discontinued in the 1970’s was Special Delivery. The last one issued carried a rate of 60c.
I actually did better on Tuesday’s test. Still in the 30s, though. I just test myself for fun. I can’t imagine wanting to be on the show (all I imagine is public humiliation).
I took Thursday’s test: https://www.jeopardy.com/Assets/jeopardy/clues/adult_test_2016_d3_clues.pdf

I probably only got about 30-32 right. I should probably start cramming if I ever actually want to be on the show.
Most domestic mail was being sent Special Delivery anyway??? No, the correct answer is airmail.
Wow, did the worst on that last one*!*
Question #47: MATH
Two word term for what 3 is to 27
The listed answer is ‘cube root’ which is correct, but wouldn’t ‘prime factor’ also be right?
Or even “one ninth.” Although I suppose that’s not really a “term.”
I don’t care if the show said that was the answer, it is at best an incomplete answer. Overseas air mail and the appropriate airmail stamps were not discontinued then. Only “Domestic airmail” stamps were discontinued.
I wasn’t suggesting that Special Delivery was the correct answer; just coincidentally that service was discontinued at that timeframe.
