The Scream
The Scream?
15 seconds was shorter than I expected. Missed the first few taking too long to type…
Mother pus bucket, I almost put that.
I believe the questions and answers will be posted on this Jeopardy forum soon. Then if you remember what you answered, you can find out how you did. I think I did pretty well. I messed up Mitch McConnell. I didn’t see the category mentioned 2 M’s, and I said Mitch Daniels. I think there were 2 or 3 others I didn’t have a clue on, including Burbank.
And Hamlet was visited by a ghost, but it was Macbeth who killed Banquo and was visited by his ghost.
Shiatsu I got, habadashery too (thank you CNR & Lidsville!) Fucking MacBeth! All I could think of was “Its the Scottish play, the Scottish play!”
Ugh, so terrible. Couldn’t remember if Banquo was in Hamlet or Macbeth. Of course I chose wrong. Blanked on Canberra. Thought it was “habberdasher” so I left off the y. Blargh.
I wonder how they’ll score misspellings when the category was 12-letter words.
Bob Dylan Thomas…“Like a Rolling Stone” and “A Child’s Christmas in Wales”. I wish I’d realized the category before it was too late to change my answer but I spent about 8 seconds thinking “those aren’t the same person…” :smack:
In light of the answer to one of the questions tonight, that Munch was the 2nd person to post in this thread is amusing…
I blew it again. It was Verdi, right? Anyway, the same problems as everyone else. Fifteen seconds tick down fast.
I think I put down acupuncture for shiatsu. I did get Canberra and the Scream, though. The Bob Dylan Thomas question threw me completely off. I said Hamlet on the Banquo question, got the Spielberg, didn’t answer on King’s Speech because I couldn’t remember. All in all, another wasted chance.
Not Verdi, Rossini.
Mozart
The Marriage of Figaro? That’s Mozart. Rossini is the Barber of Seville.
Aw, man…I got them reversed! Barber of Seville was Rossini! Dammit…
Marriage of Figaro was Mozart.
I would have missed it anyway. Damn Opera.
Was the Tampa Bay Rays question asking for state or city?
It was asking for the state. I had Tampa Bay Rays typed out then had to backspace. I only had time to get out Fla. I hope that counts.
Frak.
