has anyone seen the commercial where they use the part of jeremiah was a bullfrog ‘joy to the world, all the boys and girls…’ but it’s a punkish cover. does anyone know who does it?
I have no idea who does the commercial…but the song is Joy to the world written by Hoyt Axton.
It occurs to me that ol’ Hoyt may have screwed up. No one calls it ‘Joy to the World’, because there’s already a well-known hymn(I think) with that title. If Hoyt had had the foresight to call the song ‘Jeremiah Was a Bullfrog’, we’d all be much better off, don’t you think? Can’t he pull a George Lucas and change it retroactively? It would probably be worth big bucks to him.
