Hawkins, his wife, and Skeet work more closely together now as the President of the new Allied States arrives.
OK, now I understand the need to change the flag-- these guys aren’t trying to resurrect the USA, but something different. I’m betting that Army guy what’s-his-name is going to join our heroes at some point in trying to prevent that.
Especially now that the guys from Ravenwood have returned. Remember how they caused a hella bunch of trouble last season when they were a bunch of wildcats. Imagine how worse they’re going to be as a contractor with the new government. I wonder how long it’s going to take Beck to find out he’s on a wild goose chase.
Missed the edit window:
The Morse code message at the beginning spelled “J&R RAN BOXCAR.” An interesting tidbit. J&R stands for Jennings & Rall and “Boxcar” was the name of the file that Hawkins couldn’t decrypt.
I wonder if Grey will ever return from the Constitutional Convention.
He seems to be playing a fairly straight shooter. If so, he should tumble to the truth fairly quickly and could be a valuable ally.
I only started watching late in the season, so I probably missed a lot of that. I’ve got the 1st 3 episodes of Season 1 on DVR (it was shown as a repeat on one of the channels recently), but haven’t watched them yet.
I’m really pleased at the direction this show has taken (and vast improvement in quality since the first two or three 'sodes.)
Boxcar gave me a little chill - what do you want to bet it involves undesireables and a long ride to a remote, possibly radioactive location?
Still could do without Emily but I adore Mimi and Stanley. I also think the blonde who works for J&R - who could sign - will turn out to be on the good side.
She was the journalist/filmmaker chick on John from Cincinnati.
I’m liking it. Every character in the show has suddenly become likable and I care about them unlike season one when I was kinda wishing they’d all die. The story is tighter and more focused and I don’t feel like we’re waving in the breeze trying to find a gimmick or a hook. Well, we’ve got a gimmick, but now they’re telling me a story I might actually care about.
Me too. I really like Esai Morales, and Mimi and Stanley are fun.
