Great balls of fire! Bonnie really knew how to use that shotgun effectively. Guess growing up on a farm has it’s advantages. RIP Bonnie
Looking forward to what seems to be a showdown next week over Mimi’s binder. All this fuss over $10,000.?? Seems a little illogical considering everything else that’s going on.
The thing isn’t the 10 grand, it’s the fact that J&R, as was said a few times, frowns heavily on embezzlement and the asshole contractor guy would wind up fired from a very cushy job if the home office found out.
Or perhaps the money was put into something that no one is supposed to know about.
Wow, that was sad. I liked how they muted the sound a bit and showed how Bonnie was relying on visual clues. That whole thing really sucked though.
I’m still liking Maj Beck.
Getz (?) is a goner when and if Stanley figures it out.
What a prick. How many episodes left in this “season”?
Intense episode. I’m liking the Beck character more and more. Poor Bonnie. Her character added some real dimension to the show, too.
Was Bonnie dead? It looked like she was breathing in two of the shots of her brother holding her.
There are three episodes left, with the series finale on Mar. 25.
I guess I’d better spoiler this next piece of information:
According to Wikipedia, (don’t click if you don’t want to know) two endings have been filmed for the finale. Depending on Jericho’s fate, the final episode will bring closure to the series if it is not renewed. If the producers get word that Jericho is renewed for a third season, the final episode will end with a cliffhanger to be picked up the following season.
This show has come a long way. It started as groan-inducing in parts and has developed into something that’s at least entertaining enough to watch. The plotting is tighter and more focused, the soap opera bits are cut down a ton, and the new direction is interesting. I’d prefer a realistic attempt to portray a small town struggling with supply issues, outside forces, fallout, and other such things, though.
The major is a remarkably likable character - all business, competant, smart - but also a decent guy just trying to do his best for the people under his control in a messed up situation.
It’s not the best show, but I actually find myself wanting a third season. Unfortunately I think the show lost the audience that it started out with - who, like me, really dug the premise - but scared them off with all of the inane, horrible soap opera stuff in the first half of the first season - and no one’s around to see that it has improved.
