I figured we would go with BYOB and I’ll lay in a supply of Soda.
I’ll supply the basic BBQ meat, Hamburgers, Hotdogs, Sausage & Rolls.

Thanks for including the new, “don’t post very often”, guys. Depending on the final date and location, I may actually attend - I’ve got a wedding, Sunday soccer games, etc.
Would an almost 2-year old and a 4-year old be out of place at such an extravaganza? If not, I’ll check with the husband.
My kids are 8 & 6, Hal’s daughter is only around 5 months.
I think the 4 year old would have fun. You’ll have to keep a watch on the little one though, my backyard is large but the street I live on is busy. We have a sand box, Swing set and a small slide sized for a 2 year old. More kids should be fun.

I have a three year old so the four year old and two year old should have someone to play with.
She’d also love the sandbox and slide.
On a number of occasions I’ve thought to myself, “Self, if a NY/NJ area dopefest is discussed, would you attend? Are you ready? Do you feel you’ve presented yourself thus far in a satisfactory manner that other dopers, whom you admire greatly, would welcome you?” And myself usually answers, “we’ll see.”
That day is upon us. And as much as I pine for the camaradarie and am curious as hell to meet those of whom I have a clear mental image, if only to see if my image is correct, I must decline and give thanks for the open invitation.
Plus, I’m actually busy that weekend. Enjoy!

You just HAD to put in on the 20th, didn’t you? I got all excited. I don’t know why none of you know that I was born and raised in Bergen County, NJ. If it is on the 20th, I can’t come, because that’s the day I’m graduating. Any day between then and June 3rd is golden.
