June 14/15 are out (Father’s Day and my mother’s b’day. June 28/29 should be good, as well as July 12/13. As for Yankee home games, we get prime seats (6 rows behind visitor dugout) once a year, and I don’t have a date for that yet.
Hmm. You know, ever since the NY fests fell apart the only folks I’ve seen are those who make it up to DaveW00’s for his annual rib roast.
I’ve been considering keeping an eye open for gatherings in Philly and such, but a day in Jersey doesn’t sound bad, if’n you’re amenable.
I’ll try to make it this time too. July is better for me than June, but all my weekends are open right now. I can offer car rides from northeast NJ, and I’m only 10 minutes from Manhatten by car if anyone wants to carpool. I’m sorry I missed it last time, the first couple times were great.

If’n you’re south of I-195, I’d be willing to swing by the station before heading south. That is, if the dates and such work out. BTW, I could handle 4 folks.
But I’m sure we’ll get that all straightend out as the planned date approaches.
I’m in Bergen County NJ and I don’t drive, so if someone could pick me up and get me home I’d be much obliged and willing to chip in for tolls/gas.
I am good for most any weekend in June - I know you give ample advance notice, so I’ll be looking for the announcement!

Works for me. I’ve attempted only one other time to meet some dopers, and failed because of my crazy work schedule, but since this is a weekend, I am liking the odds.

Dude, we just had one in Philly. You’re not doing a good job keeping up with that. 
As always, we’re a “maybe”. Train fare to NJ is relatively cheap from PA, and it’ll be a good excuse to go for a train ride. Just let me know the closest stops and I’ll see what I can work out.

I have yet to make any Dopefest - heck, I’ve only met one other Doper IRL. The biggest issue for me is that my non-work time is so jammed, especially on weekends. Kids’ sports activity take up the lion’s share, but with the two of us working, there’s a ton of errand crap we can’t done otherwise. Hard to make a case for my own time during that prime weekend time - and I wouldn’t want to bring the kids, at least for a first time in-person meet up…too distracting.
Let me see what I can work out - no promises, but it would be fun to try…

Sorry about the list, it keeps growing though each time. I use a combination of prior dopefests and several New Jersey thread to accumulate names. Yonkers is about 60 miles from my house. My Grandmother use to live there.
I hope you can make it, if you change your mind about the kids, there will be a least an 11 years, an 8 year old and probably the little Briston who must be around two already.

Simple is good. I’ll keep an eye out. 
Screw the trains. The cheapest way would be to go from Harrisburg to Philly, then take a bus to Trenton, then take the train to Middletown. To go from Philly to Trenton to Middletown takes three hours or so, according to the NJ Transit site. To go from my house to Middletown takes 3 hours and we avoid the PA Turnpike.
The 29th is the Saturday after my birthday. Cake, presents and general adulation will be expected.
