Jesus Christ Is Born!

Unto us a Son is given, unto us a Child is born, and His name shall be Wonderful Counseller,Mighty Lord,Everlasting God,Prince of Peace.

Even more amazing than Santa doing the whole world’s rounds in a single night, the creator of the entire universe, who made stars and planets and galaxies, waterfalls and mountains, came to Earth as a baby in a manger in a stable in an insignificant town.

Happy Christmas…and remember the most important bit about Christmas is the first six letters!

Merry Christmas Iceland, and let me just say, I’m glad this isn’t Great Debates.

Oh boy.

I’m guessing the Mods get Christmas off. I’m at work…

Enjoyable Christmahannakwanzaadan Iceland.
And a benign journey around the celestial orb everyone!

You’re 2000 years too late, such a person was already born. Or do you know something we don’t?

Although I may disagree with your faith, thank you for the thought, and I’m happy for you.

Sir Rhosis

I am sure this will get moved to Great Debates soon, but in the meantime, Merry Christmas to you too.
Personally, I do think that celebrating the Christ’s birth is an integral part of Christmas, despite how the mainstream media has treated the holiday as somehow quasi-secular in recent decades.

ABCDEF?

No, the most important thing about Christmas is getting lots of prezzies.

And I scored good, baby!

Actually, it’s “HAPPYC”.

It’s too bad we can’t return to the traditional means of celebration:

cite.

I woke up with a migraine, can you tell?

Hmm I can’t see why reminding everyone about the true meaning of Christmas shouldn’t be allowed to stay with all the other Christmas threads

And the dictionary would agree with you…

A Christian feast **commemorating the birth of Jesus. **
December 25, the day on which this feast is celebrated.
Christmastide.

[Middle English Cristemas, from Old English Crstes mæsse, **Christ’s festival ** : Crst, Christ; see Christ + mæsse, festival; see Mass.]

Dude, as much as I love the sentiment and thank you most heartily for it, with a big hug and kiss–and I’m a Christian, too, if that has any bearing–your OP borders on witnessing, which really does belong in Great Debates.

You can enjoy Christmas just as much if you’re not religious. Relax, have a mug of hot apple cider with us.

Iceland_Blue, if you feel the need to witness . . . do so in Great Debates.
