Jesus, I have to pit lissener. Sorry, I know it's old, but he's being a jackass.

Who?

Mary Cassat…fabulous 19th/20th century impressionist painter.

I don’t get the reference, though.

Well, if you really thought elucidator needed to know who . . . .

I really truly wish that the use of the comma would be more closely examined, it seems to me that people have gone comma happy.

I hadn’t seen any of these latest replies. Since this thread’s been resurrected…

I’m confused. Who did you think was talking about Mary Cassatt? T’wernt me Jack. For one thing, I’m a she.

And to be absolutely clear I was NOT referring to Cher. I like Cher as an actress, but I’m not into her music, except for a few early songs. I smiled at elucidator’s joke but it occurs to me that some people who aren’t as obsessive about my obsession as Justin_Bailey might actually think I’m a Cher fanatic. Uh, no.
Then again, I probably just got whooshed. Too much rum maybe.

Well played, although your sentiment will hardly find the ears of the likes of Equipoise.

Ok, I am a lame cunt, but I totally missed the ball on that.

“Hate” was a hyperbole on my part. I used it in the same way I would say “I hate coconut” or “I hate football.” Of course you should really hate bin Laden and other terrorists and Paul Bernardo more than some random bitch on a message board. Btw, I didn’t need to click on your Wikipedia link. I’ve known who Bernardo was since he and his horrorshow wife Karla were first arrested. In fact, I was following the case before they had a suspect, so I know what they did and why they would be hated.

I’m not near as good as that makes me sound, but thank you very much. I admire your writing talent.

Ha! That makes us even.
