Jiggling when needing to pee

Why do children, and some adults, jiggle, hop and generally move around when they need to pee? why does it ease the urge to go?

Ah, sweet mystery of Life and Death, at last you’ve found it.

Distraction, maybe? You’re thinking about hopping around and squirming and not how bad you have to pee.

I’ve noticed when I’ve held it too long, mostly due to work stuff that I didn’t want to break away from, the closer I get to the bathroom, shutting the door, lowering my pants and sitting down, the greater the need…so much so that I fear I won’t make it.

I always do, but I really must learn to take more bathroom breaks.

WAG: With the body in certain positions, it takes pressure off the bladder.

I think i take too many. Mainly because my boss often tells me to do something that i don’t understand and so i have to run into the loo with a textbook to read up on what she has said so i can pretend i know what she is talking about. Obviously i do pee then too.

Maybe that is too graphic?!

Ah yes, normally associated with inexpxlicably locked bathroom doors and jammed jeans zippers.
