Does anyone know of a site that has a picture of Jimmy Carter’s “swamp rabbit attack” of the late 1970’s?? I need to prove to several people that I am not TOTALLY insane.

I don’t think there will be a picture of it, since as Cecil has said, it was a story picked up by the papers quite a bit after it occurred, and was based solely on what Carter’s staff said he told them. I’m also pretty sure that Carter didn’t take any pictures of it himself.
I did see a picture of the incident once. However, that picture was clear evidence the creature The Big Peanut was fending off with an oar was a jackalope, not a rabbit.
you might try looking at TIME magazine for a picture. that’s where I remember reading about it - there may be a picture.
