I want them. They don’t have any bread in them, like croissant sandwiches or biscuit sandwiches, which tend to get tough in the microwave, so they’re the BEST handheld breakfast. Up until two weeks ago, I had a reliable source at Winco Foods in Portland (OR). Now they’re nowhere to be found (at Winco. I won’t go to Fred Meyer or Safeway. Or Albertson’s). I’m tempted to put the responsibility for this on @Smapti on account of they own the chain, but I don’t want to make unfair accusations.
A tip somebody gave me (just yesterday!) - try Instacart. Even if you don’t sign up or use it for its intended service, you can use it to check if certain specific items are available and where they might be in stock across several different stores/chains.
So you’ve been buying overstock. It seems.
I’ve never seen those. But I’m not the target buyer.
If you really want them, maybe bite your tongue and go in those stores you don’t like. Or expand your search to Dollar General, Walgreens or other places that may not have as much traffic as your Winco. And buy all you see.
It looks like to me they’re discontinued, as well.
Good luck
ETA. They are on the Tyson website. No place in Portland listed
No, I was looking on the Jimmy Dean website. I don’t see any hash browns listed. You might try the Contact Us link on the Tyson Food Service website to see if it’s still available anywhere.
