Why don’t you call? You said you would call. Hell, you said you would call yesterday but I let that slide since we met late in the day. But here it is, over 24 hours since our initial meeting and still nothing from you.
What? Didn’t you like me? I felt we had chemistry. I took all your tests, which you said I passed with flying colors, so why haven’t I heard from you? I did all the right things, dressed nice, showed up early, acted respectfully. I even let you do most of the talking and listened intently. And when I did talk it was either to ask an insightful question or to add an anecdote to show you I understood what you were talking about.
You said my qualifications either met or exceeded your expectations. You said you were impressed with both my procurement and technical background, both which you were looking for. I got the impression that I was your man. So why haven’t you called?
