JohnClay, you are acting like an idiot.

Not merely an idiot, but one who glories in his ignorance such that you are unwilling to learn a single thing contrary to the preconception you brought to the “debate” you started.

Stop it before you embarrass yourself further.

Buddy, he ain’t acting.

Actually here’s at least one thing: I assumed that the collapses looked like controlled demolitions (in zeitgeist they focused on building 7’s collapse). Then later I remembered that the collapse of the towers happened in the middle rather than at the base…

Not even the middle. Strangely enough, it started from where the planes went in.

And the saddest thing is that besides the A&E9/11 groups you have to show that that movie was also a source of how they pulled your leg.

The lesson here (that I do wonder if you will ever learn it) is that when one knows that a lot of the points coming from a movie are bullshit it is very, very likely that the rest of the movie is also bull.

Well, the controlled demolition charges had previously been carefully placed right where the planes were going to hit, so naturally that’s where the collapse started.

planes? I thought they were orbs!

I thought Kubrick had filmed the collapse on a sound stage in Nevada ? Now I’m confused.

We’re supposed to believe this???

Most of us watched this on Live TV, clinging to our loved ones and thinking of the unfortunate people who were living it in real time. We watched the second plane hit and the towers collapse at the planes’ point of entry. We saw the damned things collapse.

That the reality of such a profound moment in our national collective traumatic memory would be distorted by such idiotic claims… the mind boggles.

Your memories, much like the questionable sites you keep referring to, aren’t worth a bucket of batshit.

Thanks everyone for bringing this idiotic argument over into the Pit. One thread wasn’t enough for you, I guess.

I saw the second impact live too. It’s just that they were showing two buildings collapsing side by side. My mind was already filled with all the other things I had been hearing. It didn’t occur to me to think back to the tower collapses. If it could have been rebutted that easily I thought next to no-one could have fallen for it. BTW it took a former young earth creationist to stop that belief. He would have been aware of all the counter-arguments unlike the anti-creationist books I had read. I also read a lot of interesting evolution books at the uni library including an old one that compared down syndrome to orangutans. BTW I know a fellow programmer that believes that the earth never moves and my teacher sister believes him. I told her about how pendulums show the earth rotates in 24 hours. I also know programmers who believe in demon possession.

If it wasn’t for my relationship that would have encouraged the suicidal thoughts I’ve had especially if you called me a creep as well.

He is schizophrenic, folks. Abusing him makes you look bad…not him.

I have a lot of schizophrenic friends/inlaws/wife but I have schizo-affective disorder and I don’t think that is “schizophrenic” (as far as I can tell).

But I was starting to enjoy the next section about the mischief the bankers are apparently getting up to.

Then maybe he shouldn’t be posting on the internet unsupervised?

Well I am allowed to fire handguns at a gun club… and as far as the internet goes I used to live with a guy who was told to not look up porn because he kept on searching for lolita/teen porn and he didn’t need to be supervised…

What could possibly go wrong with that?
