Judge's Fiance pays woman to have sex with her/her daughter.

This could get weirder and darker still

Logan’s personnel file describes a model employee with a long work history.

He was Security Director at the Peabody Hotel from 1994-1999.

He worked in private security until 2000 when he was hired as a clerk for Shelby County’s criminal courts.

The following year he was promoted to assistant manager in the county records department. Performance reviews indicate that Logan often exceeded employee expectations.

Since 2001, he’s listed Judge Joyce Broffitt as his fiancee and emergency contact.

Embedded in that past is a tragic news headline.

In 2000, Logan’s 9-year-old son died in a fire that was deliberately set at a Southeast Memphis home.

The child’s 16-year-old stepsister reported being raped by an intruder the day Brandon Logan died while trapped in his burning bedroom.

No one has ever been arrested or charged in the rape and fire case that happened in 2000.

In fact, police tell’s Action News 5 that it is an open and active investigation. And for that reason they can’t tell us whether Logan was or was not somehow involved.

Has anyone established why the judge has even been on this news stories radar? So far I’ve heard nothing about her being involved but her name is just getting dragged through the mud to make the story more sensational. Is there a law against judges dating guys that turn out to be scumbags?

Well they’re usually supposed to have more prudence.

Jurisprudence.
