57-year-old woman gives birth to twins

This 57 year old woman has grown children, grown grandchildren, and some great-grandchildren who are presumably still children. Can you just imagine looking through the nursery window and seeing a newborn there–and it’s your great uncle or great aunt!

gets grandchild at 38,
great grandchild at 57…
That’s still pretty young.
My grandmother got married at 15 and had my dad when she was 16.
When my dad was 24 he had my brother, making my grandmother 39.
Two years ago, my brother married a woman with a 7 year old son, when my grandmother was 64.
So she retroactively became a great-grandmother at age 57.
It happens!
