In coordination with filmmakers, Universal has decided to release Jurassic Park 4 at a
later date giving the studio and filmmakers adequate time to bring audiences the best
possible version of the fourth installment in Universal’s beloved franchise. We could not
be more excited about the vision that Colin Trevorrow has created for this film, and we
look forward to watching as he and the producers create another great chapter in this
franchise’s storied history.

Okay, this is danged confusing.
I remember “Fun Park With Dinosaurs Screws Up”, and I remember some para gliding sking kid crashing on Dino Island, and the guy goes to rescue him, and is in turn rescued by the entire US Marine Corps.
No dinosaurs were blown up in the making of this film, dammit.
That’s all I got.

  1. This is the third or fourth iteration of announcing a release date and then “delaying” it. I don’t think anyones ever made it as far as actually shooting footage.

The first film didn’t really need a sequel, nevermind three of them, so probably for the best.

I saw it. It’s a Pixar film.

[Spoiler] A lonely asteroid by the name of KT accidentally causes an world-wide extinction event; but through a series of magical adventures, self-discovery, and natural selection, he discover new friends. And with their help, learns that he/she/it isn’t such a bad person after all.

FYI: this is the prequel to Ice Age I’m working on a fourth spoiler, but I’ve had to delay the presentation to ensure the best possible Spoiler.[/Spoiler]

I liked JPIII, dammit. In fact it’s the only one I like.

JP III is actually a pretty good movie. A huge improvement over Lost World which was a giant fucking turd. I still have a soft spot in my heart for the original, as it was extremely groundbreaking in its use of CGI and animatronics together.

I’m looking forward to 4 but really sick of all these delays. I mean, even Duke Nukem Forever came out eventually, you know!

You’re remembering the first one and the third one (the one with the para gliding) which although I don’t think did as well as two it was kinda better. The second one didn’t actually have the numeral ‘2’ in its title, it was just The Lost World: Jurassic Park and was directed by Spielberg, starred Jeff Goldblum, Julianne Moore & Vince Vaugn. A T-rex gets loose in LA at the end? Sound familiar?

I’d be more excited if the director was willing to allow the dinos to “evolve” feathers to reflect more current discoveries. Or at least give the theropods the proper forearm orientation. But I’m still gonna see it, regardless. Unless they cast Nic Cage as the lead. Then I probably won’t.
